“In a trade from the Green Bay Packers, the New York Jets select...........”
“What do you mean, in a trade” I yelled at the TV holding my yet to be dried coffee cup in one hand and the towel that was set to do all of the hard work in the other.
“No trade, why trade, what the heck are we trading for?” I couldn’t stop moaning. I had waited all morning for this. Waited through the 8 inane minutes it took each team to select their player after the team before them was done. I had waited for the scroll across the bottom of the screen to tell me the key loss and key gain of the Packers over the off-season. I was even waiting for the Packers logo to show amongst the next five teams to pick along the left hand vertical of the screen.

As mentioned in my very brief update last week, I am once again a proud member of the Australian workforce. And not too soon I might add. I started to think about the last time I pulled my suit on for a day at the office and after a quick check I can reveal it was Friday the 6th July 2007. That’s just over 9 months, or, to be more precise, 281 days without a pay check.

G’day All,
It’s official, I am no longer a full time Packer Backer. Yes, as was always going to be the case I was back at work yesterday and so far it’s just peachy. I can’t update fully right now as I’m in Melbourne on orientation and without Internet access. I wanted to at least let you know what i was up to though. (I’ve stayed back in the office to do this short update.)
I’ll update the site over the weekend when things aren’t so crazy and give you all the goss on what I’m sure will be one heck of a week.

Lazy Lazy Week

Well I hate to disappoint you all but this week has been a really boring week by comparison to our last few. It’s been quite deliberate I must say, thanks to the fact that I start my new job in 7 days time. I’ve been taking advantage of the quiet time now while I’ve still got it.
When I do something I tend to throw myself into it completely (this website for example) so I figure if I don’t relax a little now I’ll be exhausted by the end of my first week. I’ve got to say I am looking forward to my first day. I’ve been stinging to start work since returning so the days can’t go by quickly enough.

End of March Already?

So I tried to cut down the pictures this week through fear of deluging you with more than you could handle and I am happy to say I did so successfully. From 19 last week to 15 today - not bad huh? In fact, I tried another little something new today and that was to put a picture of Kelly and I at the top because for the last few weeks, Ben seems to have taken the cake as gorgeous as he is.
Well, as usual, alot has happened in the last 7 days. If you take into account that last week’s update finished on the 16th March though, you’ll see I’ve actually got 15 days to talk about, not 7.
