So here we are as much it pains me to say it. At the last post of the season. Well, it kind of pains me and it kind of doesn’t. With so many other things taking effect now it’s time, like I said last week, to take a breather while the rest of our lives falls into place. I’m forecasting perhaps the first week of September and everything’ll be right as rain again. (A coincidence perhaps?)
Before I get into the Q and A I’ve got to say, after much writing, picture sorting and video watching that this week sure has been a tough one. I finalised the last of the “coming home” video and loaded it which was good and bad. Good to relive it, bad to think it was so long ago. I was looking at pictures both for printing and for the book and I can’t believe how many different things we did. I also watched alot of the old you tube videos just because I could. What a trip.

I know I’ve been promising this for a while, I’m sorry it has taken so long. Hope you enjoy our last video installment for the season.
I plan on collaging a series of photos at some point but that’ll probably kick the new season off. I’m working on the Q and A now and should have it loaded by noon GB time.
The time has officially come I’m sorry to say. Time to hang up the boots, take a break and a well earned rest after what has been a hectic 9 month campaign. (Don’t you love the photo from week 1?) I feel like I’ve got nothing left to give. Emotionally, physically and mentally I’m spent. It’s not about the writing, I love the writing, you all know that. It’s what happens in between the writing that makes it tough. The thoughts…(pause)…, the mental training and everything that…(pause)…goes along with it. If it weren’t for the pre-season I could certainly see myself going around again…….
G’day, long time no speak! I must apologise for the lack of update last week. I wasn’t feeling great Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and by Thursday and Friday I was in Melbourne again working hard as always. I just wanted to say a quick hello before i go to bed. My grand plan was to update tonight (it’s Monday 1145pm here, 845am there) but my eyes have got the better of me. After a few late nights last week and some more working from home this evening i know it’s not even worth attempting to write for the next hour. Come back same time tomorrow to see what has been happening over the last 2 weeks.....and our impending off season.
Hoping you’re all well.
“In a trade from the Green Bay Packers, the New York Jets select...........”
“What do you mean, in a trade” I yelled at the TV holding my yet to be dried coffee cup in one hand and the towel that was set to do all of the hard work in the other.
“No trade, why trade, what the heck are we trading for?” I couldn’t stop moaning. I had waited all morning for this. Waited through the 8 inane minutes it took each team to select their player after the team before them was done. I had waited for the scroll across the bottom of the screen to tell me the key loss and key gain of the Packers over the off-season. I was even waiting for the Packers logo to show amongst the next five teams to pick along the left hand vertical of the screen.
