Morning. Hoping all’s well in your neck of the woods.....
I just wanted to post a little something to let you know that my last update was written 2 days ago. It’s almost impossible to post it on a dial up connection though, thanks to our limit being exceeded for the month. Waiting for the pages to open takes forever and that doesn’t include the loading of any pictures yet.....
Our real connection will be restored on Saturday and with it will come cable speeds again. I’m sorry to say it but i have to wait until then to put it up. I’ll go insane otherwise.
Just briefly, the weather has been incredible here and the boys have loved playing outside in their pool. Kelly had her teeth pulled 2 days ago and is still feeling the effects of a terribly sore mouth and I am trying to do 101 things at once as always. Not too disimilar from my everyday life before all of this started i guess.
Will load the full write up on the 1st.
Have fun,
G’day! Long lost Aussie Wayne here. I bet you thought I’d fallen off the face of the earth?
First of all, before I get started, I want to send out an apology for taking so long to post again. I promised there’d be a new entry every Monday morning (US time) but these last few days have been completely nonstop. Who would have thought that flying halfway across the world, unpacking a ton of bags, doing our best to settle back in and take care of everything that has piled up whilst we were away would have been so time consuming? I certainly didn’t.
Also, you’ll have to excuse the lack of photos this week. We’re on dial up until the end of the mointh because our internet allowance has been used up and loading pics takes forever.....it’s very frustrating.
Posted in: Other,Hi All,
Sorry about the delay. There’ll be an update in the next 24 hours or so (lunchtime Wedesday in GB). Lot’s to tell, too little time.....It’s 331am here and if I don’t go to bed soon i think my head is going to fall right off.
Just wanted to let you know
Hoo Roo
3 days have passed since my last post and alot has happened since then. Our bags are unpacked, our rooms are sorted and we’re about ready to resume life as best we can. I plan on taking it a little easy for the next few days, just to get my head around actually being back and then it’ll be full steam ahead.
("And We’re Home” is the first entry since leaving in case you’re seeing this on the home page. Read that one first.)
It sure feels good to be back.
For much of yesterday I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Literally. I was so happy to be home but after the first few hours all my body wanted to do was go into “Operation Lucas Recuperation”. That is, rest after handling Mr Energy for much of the 14 hour flight. (Flattering photo huh?)
