Let’s just start today’s entry with the truth. Neither Kelly or I got even half as much sleep as we needed before the night took a turn for the worse. Word to those out there looking to give their 2 year old a glass of Snapple before bed.....don’t, no hang on.....DON’T.

LA - The Arrival

The Flight - Syd to LA
Remember that advice I gave you at the beginning of my last post? The piece about taking infants with you to skip all of the queues. I’m not so sure that queue jumping makes up for the re-percussions of international travel with an energetic almost 3 year old being confined to a half square metre chair and a sick 9 month old that can’t stop coughing, spluttering and crying through what must be making him feel absolutely awful.

The Airport and Take-Off
First things first, some advice. The next time you are travelling, take infants with you. Everything we had to do today we did after being taken straight to the front of the line. Check-In, boarding, customs, you name it, infants are the ticket. If you don’t have them, borrow them, at least for the times where queues need to be avoided.

1 Day To Go Till LA

Had a list of some 14 things to complete this morning. Got them done in a heartbeat. Well not really, unless of course that heartbeat lasted 6 and a half hours. Spent the rest of the day, again, preparing for take-off tomorrow.
