Yesterday was a nothing day as we had Ben in bed for most of it as a sick little boy. Seems the air was quite thick and his little, sometimes asthma suffering body just couldn’t cope with the change. Courtesy of some quick thinking and well connected new friends we were able to set him on the right road to recovery. Thankyou again, for umpteenth time Tari and Kathy.
Today, thanks to the emergency nebulizer, was a whole lot better. Ben was fighting fit and always ready to try new things. Like getting the paper from one of these paper selling machine things. (I’m sure they have a more appropriate name than that by the way but I’ve no idea what it is.)
Posted in: Living in Green Bay,Kelly was off with a friend today getting a few things for the new place. That left Luc, Ben and I to cruise through town like 3 rebels without a cause. They wanted to run riot, find girls and party till potty time. I was happy just cruising around in the truck like a bird on a clear blue day.
Posted in: Living in Green Bay,Q: What do you get when you cross the wife of a Packers fan with October weather in Wisconsin?
A: A totally unprepared Aussie at a Packers game with no more than a turtle neck to keep her warm.

“Welcome to Lambeau Field”. If I said that once to Kelly today I must have said it a dozen times. I was just so excited that she was here with me today. I really did feel like a kid with a new toy. I wanted to show her everything, take her everywhere and teach her every single rule of the game.
Kelly, bless her heart, wasn’t interested in much of that. For most of the game the temperature was in the mid 40’s (approx 8c) which to us is totally freezing. On top of being freezing and wet we were freezing and everything was wet. (Repetition intended).
Posted in: Game Day,Moby once wrote a song about hotels and how stale they are. About the fact that you can lead an empty life by staying in hotels night after night after night. His idea was that you checked into a room that looked as though it had never been stayed in before and once you were gone it looked the same again. Regardless of what had taken place the night before or what was about to happen, by the time the occupants had swapped each day the room was completely wiped clean.
