imageSo far on this trip, in just 4 weeks, I have witnessed some of the most celebrated records in American sports history fall week after week after week. To say that this year is something special with respect to the NFL and the Green Bay Packers would be a total understatement. How do you top a 3 and 0 start from a team that some were saying wouldn’t win 3 games the entire season?

It felt like we were moving out of home again today. 2 suitcases, 2 car-seats a stroller, port-a-cot, backpack, washing basket plus travel and laptop bags for me led to one very full trolley. And all of this for just one night away from home. Kelly stayed with a friend of ours, Tari (Aussie name Tezza) while her husband Rob (Aussie name Robbo) and I set off for a road trip to the Minnesota game.

imageLike last Friday, Kelly was again able to free herself from the clutches of her 3 dependant little boys. Yes I include myself in that summary as one, if not the most dependant of all. This time it was for some much needed pampering and I for one, biased or not, think that if anyone deserves a break, it is her.

Moving Day and More American Tucker

imageI am beginning to wonder whether not having tickets or accommodation for this weeks trip to Minnesota is a problem. Ordinarily I wouldn’t be so concerned but with the Packers 3 and 0 and Brett likely to become the all time Touchdown passing leader it seems all anybody is talking about is making the trip west on the weekend. In fact it’s big news on TV and in the paper aswell. I guess we’ll wait and see. With any luck there are more tickets for sale than buyers and on first look there seems to be alot of tickets for sale.

Playtime at the Y

imageDesperate to do things for the kids and live the true Green Bay experience we were off to the YMCA this morning to give Ben the chance to meet some little friends and burn some much needed energy. Like a kid in a candy store he did well to run around like a chook with its head cut off. Not prepared to listen to a single word anybody uttered he ran north, south, east and west. As far away from the rest of the class as possible and as close as he could to everything he shouldn’t have been near in the first place. We certainly couldn’t blame him for being curious but boy can this kid run when he wants to.....
