A Well Deserved Break

imageThis was a wonderful day. Tell me, do you have any women’s awards or Mother of the year awards or women’s magazine’s that pay respect to great women in the community? I ask because, as most of you have noted, Kelly has been so great to both the kids and I that she deserves something out of this too. Something that does not involve the 3 most beautiful, darling, caring, handsome men in her world. I mean the 3 humans that depend on her every second of the day.

For the first real-time since being here I was able to play the stay at home game while Kelly went for breakfast, lunch (just a snack apparently) and the best cup of tea she has had in long while. This whilst fitting in a spot of shopping and seeing parts of Green Bay and surrounding that we haven’t seen yet. True to form she came back with groceries, clothes for the kids and a whole lot of other things that had nothing to do with herself what so ever.

In saying that, it was finally nice to know that, whether household or not, a complete day away from the anarchy that has sometimes become this trip, was a welcome change for her and one that will most certainly happen more often.

On a couple of side notes:

1. Beginning to worry about tickets this week. Seems everybody telling me this game would be hard to see was right. There aren’t alot out there. Looks like it’s personal loan time and off to see the scalpers on Sunday morning.
2. For those that are interested, make sure you’re on the look-out for the “Aussie Family” in the “Legends of Lambeau” parade tomorrow afternoon. We’ll be there, a few cars from the front having a ball. If you’re keen, come down and say hi. It’ll give me a good chance to apologise for taking so long to respond to emails if you’re still waiting.....

It’s ok Wayne.  Kelly and your adorable boys need love and attention too.  Hey Kelly, if you get bored when Wayne’s at the game, e-mail me.  I’d love to hear your REAL take on all of this.  You are definately a one in a million person.

Hi Randi Mae,

Kelly is penning her thoughts as we speak. Looks like her post is going to be a very popular one. She certainly is one in a million.

Wayne--
Just sent you an email with some info on getting tickets for tomorrow’s game.  Not sure if it’s too late, but might be worth a shot first thing in the morning.

Good luck!

I saw that, thanks Kimberly,

Turns out a friend saved us at the last minute.
