Friend or Foe # 2 - Technology

Whomever said technology was supposed to make our lives easier forgot that before it does, the set-up of such would make our lives a living hell.
Have you ever tried to transfer all of the information from one computer to another? Not just the data but your mail profiles, old messages, folders, favourites and everything else that doesn’t easily fit onto a removable drive. All very computer literate people who are laughing at this please leave now. Oh and not just one computer to another, an old operating system to a new one. Whilst I’m sure Vista is going to be the next big thing, using it for the first time has proven a big pain in the “you know what”.
Dinner with Kelly’s brother and his daughter Ella made for a welcome distraction I must say. It’s Ella’s 3rd birthday and if you need anything to remind you just how wonderful life can be, watch a 3 year old and an almost 3 year old sing, clap and blow out birthday candles. It makes you realise how the little things in life are easily the most fulfilling. Now, if we could just get the Packers down here to do that things would be whole lot easier.
