Fun Updates

I spent almost all of this morning updating the website and doing little things around the home. Kel spent almost all of the morning making sure that this apartment, the kids and their meal times are as foolproof as absolute possible for the time she’ll be away. I’ve a funny feeling that whilst she’s away she’ll worry more about us than having a good time while she can. Or is that all Mothers?
With regards to updating the website you’ll see that I placed a few links on the homepage - Email Responses, Aussie Slang, Jessica Simpson Mask and Older Entries. I’d wanted to do the email and slang ones for a while now but as I say alot, time just catches up with us. As for the Jessica one, that’s just a bit fun and the older entries one was more about the last 2 weeks and people asking me how to access them. I hope you get a chance to take a look.
This afternoon we met Jeremy and Jerry from Fox6 in Milwaukee to do a story for their nightly news. This was quite a funny hour outside of what was filmed for the show. We spoke Aussie slang, seeing as I had just spent so much time on it, nicknames for Speedo’s and the little differences between Australia and The US. Jeremy seemed most taken by the fact that we flick our switches down to turn the lights on instead of up. It wasn’t something I’d really spent a whole lot of time thinking about until today.
Once that was done Kelly and Ben went down to Appleton to see our friends Amy and Jamie. Ben has such a great time playing with their little ones that any trip down there, for any reason, is always a fun one. Tonight with a new train set to explore was up there with the best of them.
Whilst they were gone Luc and I spent some quality time together which doesn’t happen very often. We bathed, had dinner and made a massive mess. I spent the last hour before he went to bed trying to stop him from climbing on the coffee table, side tables, window sill and anything else he could cock his little leg up onto.
