Game Day - Home Time

It turned out our condo was alot further away than we had anticipated but we made it in the end. We picked up our things, took a ton of photos and were in the car by about 430. There was one rule that I had to abide by on this trip. It’s Ben’s birthday tomorrow and under no circumstance, that’s right, no hail, no sleet or no snow, was I to get home late.
Some of the pics we took before we left the apartment are below:
The City Skyline
Lake Michigan between the City and the Pier
Robbo being too cool for school
After our condo pics came the last couple of Soldier Field pics:
The historic Soldier Field columns
Our fond farewell
Then it was back up the highway to our humble little home. Rob drove, Marc slept and I dozed on and off between mouthfuls of my new favourite American styled snack; beef jerky. Kelly had the most delicious meal waiting for us and I was able to kiss our little boys goodnight before sitting on the lounge with Marc and my wife. My two best friends in the world.
I’d like to send a thank you to Brett and family for giving us a great place to stay for the weekend. Your hospitality was wonderful. We all, apart from the cold, had a really great time. Thankyou again.

What great digs you had! Pics were fabulous!! If the weather had been friendlier, the views from the condo would have been Out of this World. I think Chicago has one of the prettiest skylines from land and water.

G’day All,
There wasn’t enough love in the comments that were here so i deleted them.
Political views, name calling and baiting are best left for other forums please.
This site is about having fun, following your dreams and sharing the love. Right now our second string just whooped the Lions, finished the season 13 - 3 and have a week one bye in the playoffs. There’s alot to love right there.
Call it censorship, call it big brother, call it whatever you want. Let’s just have fun talking good things while it all still lasts.
As for my “political views”. I just think you have expensive medical that’s all. I think your pizzas are expensive too but that’s not worth going into.
When i get the chance i’ll post about alot of the things we have found different. For instance, soda here is about a third the price. Jeans are a quarter. Interesting huh?
Stay cool, have fun and Go Pack.

Thanks Wayne for putting a stop to the nonsense. This is a fun blog and most of enjoy hearing of your experiences. It was a good game yesterday. Your time is getting short so enjoy all you can. Good job on all blogs. Happy New Year to you, Kelly & the boys.
