Packers played today and in planning for the trip I didn’t even think about it. OK, that’s not true. There was absolutely no coverage, no nothing and thanks to the slowest broadband speeds in the western world, following it via the web was out of the question. Instead, I waited for it to finish and read about it later on. An email from a friend of ours though put in place what we we’re missing.
The email wet my appetite a little I must say. He spoke of the commotion building, the music playing and the feeling that was in air. I know that this is what the Packers bring to Green Bay and I can’t wait to get amongst it.
We tried booking a hotel this morning for the first week of our stay and this was an interesting experience. $89 a night for Mon to Sat. Oh, hang on, the Packers are playing on Sunday. You can have the same room for $209 that night. Thanks Packers.
