We’re preparing for our road trip to Chicago this morning so the next update won’t be until Monday (Ben’s birthday). It’ll include our trip to The Botanical Gardens of Green Bay to see their Festival of Lights last night.
We, like most, have alot happening over the next few days. The game, the trip, Ben’s birthday, Christmas and we’re being joined by my best mate from High School, Marco. Like us a few weeks ago, Marco is about to experience his first below 32F (0c) day and his first snowfall all on the same weekend. It was in the 90’s when he left Perth during the week so this should be fun! With all of that, keeping up will certainly be a challenge. We’ll do our best though! Go Panthers, Go Pack. Have a safe few days in the snow.

We share a similar tale this weekend because Chicago is my home town. I go to school here, but because I already met my quota of games this year and the fact that the Bears/Packers games are as bad as Cubs/Sox, I’m staying home.
Enjoy Chicago. Defintely the most beautiful city in the world.

Born in Chicago, but raised in Upper Mich. college in Lower Mich.then living in western NY and then back to the Midwest to retire (GB), and Having travelled to many places around the world, I have to say Chicago is my favorite city, followed by Sydney, yes Australia, and then Edinburgh, Scotland. NYC is in the list also. Chicago is a great place to visit in any season.

Just got up to find Cowboys beat Panthers. Not good start to day.
Good luck to Pack tonight. I will be watching on Sky .
Also, hoping my local football(soccer) win today.They are Derby county (The Rams) and used to play at a stadium called the Baseball Ground, founded in 1884, twice champions of England, Fa cup winners and a proper football town. We have season tickets.
Hope to see Pack in 2007. It is 12 long years since I was at Lambeau.
