The Day After

Last night, with the boys being watched by their Nanny, Kelly and I went out for dinner to discuss the idea.
This idea mind you was all of 6 hours old at the time but I was keen and, judging by Kelly’s reaction via email, so was she. I was keen ‘cause the Packers have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Kelly was cautiously keen without being too overwhelmed too soon. To me, this is the opportunity of a lifetime. To Kelly, it’s a journey that most mothers wouldn’t even consider taking with two boys under 3 years of age. One that she wants to do but one that would be a dramatic life change to the two little people that depend on us the most to not change anything at all.
Deep down I know that if it does come to happen, it’ll be Kelly doing it for me and I know how big a call that’ll be for her.
