The Real Packing Begins

As with Wednesday, yesterday and today have proven to be a steep learning curve in the world of mobile technology. Needless to say, after 24 hours or so, I’m quite happy with the way things have turned out.
I have a computer that works, with all of our data loaded, an email profile no different to the old pc and favourites that, whilst on my unfavourites list earlier in the day, have been restored to their rightful place. Not much else to report. I now look forward to all of our little pieces of technology making our lives easier. Once I label all of the cords that go with these 21st century toys that is to say.
Kelly has started packing for the boys which, calling all mothers of infants out there, is an absolutely monumental job. Kids need clothes, spare clothes, emergency clothes, nappies (diapers) and their own supply of towels and face-washers. They need ointments, powders, creams and medications enough to last the entire trip. They need toys, books and puzzles for entertainment, and prams, strollers and car-seats for the sake of getting around. They also need food, formulas and any other type of dietary requirement you’re not quite comfortable purchasing when you get there. In doing so, we, I mean Kelly, has to confine the lot to a suitcase of accepted weight and size by our chosen carrier all whilst she worries about packing for herself and the other things that we’ll need.
