The Whirlwind Continues

The last 24 hours have been a real blur. Coming to terms with being at the game yesterday and kicking back with Kelly and the boys was all I thought I had to worry about. Not so.
We have been so lucky as to have had people recognise our story from Fox11 yesterday. It’s amazing how acutely an Aussie accent or two stands out in a crowd. Believe us. For those of you who didn’t see it and I’m only doing this because we’ve been asked, please check the media page of this site for the link.
In addition to the story above, we were contacted a couple of days ago by 88.5FM “Live Life Live” out of Ottawa Canada and I was lucky enough to meet the boss (see left) yesterday out at the game. Remember my comment Re: sensory overload?
Either way, we were stoked to be asked onto their show this morning with Katfish, Kornicky and Shirley Roy. Turns out their motto is living life for the moment and our story seems to be as much about that as anything. It was alot fun and something, whilst certainly unexpected was a ball to do. If you’re in that neck of the woods or have the means to listen online we’ll be checking-in with them each Friday and Monday from now until the end of the season. Get on and have a listen if you can.
For the latter part of the day we were able kick back, sort photos, change nappies (what sort of a word is diapers) and attempt to arrange our emptied suitcases into some sort of manageable order. Exciting huh?
